My team and I look after the animal health export markets—reaching some 70 countries globally!
Pets/animals or if you don’t have your own, what are your favourite animals, and why?
I have pets of all sizes from a guinea pig to a pony, with a couple of dogs in between. In size order their names are Gibler, Nöpö, Jörö, Pluto and Roosa. Dogs are my favourite because they interact so much (sometimes even a bit too much!)
How did you end up working in Orion Animal Health?
In 2000, I started working for a sister company (animal nutraceuticals) of Orion Animal Health and eventually found my way from there to the AH Rx side.
What are you passionate about in life?
Family, friends, and hobbies - and work gets a listing here too!
What inspires you in your daily Orion work?
I like working with my team and with our international customers. It is always interesting to try and figure out how we can help our Partners to sell our products in different markets around the globe!

Colleagues & Customers are clearly the best things here!
What is special about Orion compared to other companies you’ve worked for?
I am already a long time Orionee, having worked here since the year 2000. I like the Orion work culture and values; perhaps they are particularly Finnish and as a Finn these are qualities that I can easily relate to.
What skills / capabilities have you learned (adopted) in your current work?
Trying to be open minded when working with different people and cultures – they are very interesting, but not always that straight forward...
Fun facts about yourself?
As I watch my kids riding, I have been wondering if I should try and start as well - perhaps not a great idea anymore....
Your funniest pet/animal story?
With all of the pets listed above there are a lot of stories. It seems that my family are the ones finding all the pets that live in our house; sometimes pets appear unannounced and then we have one more...I have tried my best to keep the current headcount in place!
If you were an animal, what animal would you be, and why?
I would like to be a lion. They are beautiful animals, and perhaps I secretly want to be the king of jungle.
