Job Description

I’m a Product Specialist for Animal Health Sweden.

How did you end up working at Orion Pharma Animal Health?

I have always liked the company and its products, so when the opportunity to work at Orion appeared, I didn’t hesitate for a second to apply.

What is special about Orion compared to other companies you’ve worked for?

Orion takes responsibilities for both their products and their employees, and they have a good reputation out in the field. We can be proud to be a part of the company!

What have you learned working at Orion?

That each person is different. Also, that the world can change rapidly. It’s important to be able to adapt quickly to these changes, just like we have during the pandemic. Orion is a fantastic company that listens to its employees and is not afraid of changes.

What inspires you in your daily work?

That I get to meet with my fantastic customers and tell people about our great products.

Best thing about your job?

My coworkers, but also the fact that the job is so flexible and each day is unique.

What are you passionate about in life?

Dogs and animals in general. Also exercising, nutrition and diet, and improving the well-being of both animals and myself.

Do you have pets?

Yes!

Tell us more!

I own a kennel called Teamaides. I have bred and raised Leonbergers for many years, but I am breeding and raising dwarf and rabbit dachshunds at the moment.

I own several dogs, but I have only two at home right now: a dwarf dachshund called Adele and my daughter’s Portuguese Podengo Pequeno called Flicka. Together with co-owners, I also have a dwarf dachshund called Olga, who was imported from Russia, as well as a rabbit dachshund called Ronja, who I have raised myself.

Your funniest pet/animal story?

When one of my dachshund puppies crawled under our terrace to hide, my neighbour had to come and unscrew the base of the terrace to get him out. Just when we had screwed the last board back in place, we realized that the puppy had crawled back in, so we had to start all over again.

Fun fact about yourself?

I work as an international dog show judge (FCI Judge) and judge breeds from groups 2, 4, and 9. Through the years, I also have ridden quite a lot and owned many horses as well as cats, rabbits, hamsters, and so on. I also showed some of my own dogs that I bred and raised at i.a. BOB and BOS at Crufts in Birmingham and had the most reputable Leonberger and Newfoundland in Sweden several times.

If you were an animal, what animal would you be, and why?

A bird! I have always wanted to be able to fly from one place to another.
